Heart in Hand Charm

The Heart in Hand Charm was originally commissioned by the head curator of the American Crafts Museum in New York city as a thank you to the participants of the “Hands and Hearts” 1973 exhibition. The “Hands and Hearts” show explored the rich immigrant history of the Lower East Side, focusing on the last remaining ethnic artisans who brought their trade from the old country. Each craftsman, from Lithuanian bakers to Cuban cobblers, was given a charm necklace as a Thank You for participating in the exhibition.

Solid sterling silver.
