CHAPTER III: WATER... Water is typically associated with healing, purification, and the subconscious mind. It is seen as a symbol of spiritual flow, encouraging adaptability and the ability to navigate change. For this series we have chosen stones in three very different shades of blue: Chalcedony, Chrysocolla and Lapis Lazuli. 

In astrology, water signs include Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. Water signs are deeply in tune with the emotional undercurrents around them; they are generally associated with strong intuition, empathy and depth. 

Lapis Lazuli - In the Middle Ages, painters ground up lapis lazuli to make the deep blue paint called ultramarine--the blue used to paint the robes of Mary of Nazareth in the Sistine Chapel. Often worn as a talisman, Lapis Lazuli is hailed for its protective properties, safeguarding its wearer from negative energies and ensuring serenity and peace in its surroundings.
