Designed for the 1991 Spring Runway collection by Mary McFadden, The Celtic Cross is an eye-catching statement piece that measures in at almost 5 inches long. On the catwalk it was worn layered, slung low over sheer dresses and sumptuous fabrics. While still available in solid sterling silver as well as solid bronze, we’ve added a lead-free plated white metal option for a more wearable, every-day piece. If you look closely, you’ll notice that the cross is made up of cats and mice, animal iconography taken directly from the Book of Kells, an illustrated pre-medieval manuscript whose origins remain unknown.
Pendant comes with black leather chord for hanging.
Available in lead-free white metal plated in your choice of 18k Gold, Black Chrome, Antique Bronze or Antique Silver.
We'll never send more than one email a week, promise.
