The Lost City series is an echo from Alex's past, inspired by his travels as a young man through the ancient Mayan ruins of the Yucatán peninsula.
Each carving depicts the angular rooftops and pyramids of a lost civilization created in the fantasy of the young artist’s mind. Hand-painted oxidation is polished back to reveal the incredible organic texture within each piece.
