Silver Keltic Cross

The Keltic Cross is one of Alex Streeter's most unique and phantasmagorical works. This carving inspired by the Book of Kells, an ancient Irish illuminated manuscript from the 9th century that features animals dancing along its pages.

If you look closely, you’ll notice that the cross is made up of various creatures, including cats, mice, rabbits and geese. The Keltic Cross is quite the statement piece, measuring about 4.5" (12cm) long. It is very heavy, containing almost 150 grams of silver. The Keltic Cross was originally shown as part of a runway collection with fashion icon Mary McFadden in 1991.

An homage to the pagans of old, the Keltic Cross is a modern celebration of the natural world. This listing is for a pendant without chain - if you would like to customize your chain please contact us at info@AlexStreeter.com
