The Janus Pendant is a vintage carving by Alex Streeter that portrays the Ancient Roman Deity "Janus", god of duality, transitions, beginnings and endings.

Janus is often depicted with two faces, one looking to the past and one to the future, allowing him to see simultaneously inside and outside, and forwards and backwards.

The Ancient Romans dedicated the month of January to Janus, signifying a time of rebirth and new beginnings and an opportunity to look back on lessons learned and forward to the possibilities ahead.
