The Manhattan Cross - originally carved in the early 90’s as an homage to the magnificent city scape of Alex Streeter’s hometown. Depicting a bird’s eye view of Manhattan, the cross features stairways and rooftops intricately carved in miniature form. This stunning one-of-a-kind version is adorned with 22 black diamonds, 1 white diamond and 1 blue sapphire. We feel this piece serves as a splendid reminder of the importance of diversity in our fair city, and as such will be donating 100% of proceeds to @integratenyc Integrate NYC.
Integrate NYC works toward designing policies and solutions to end segregation in New York City’s public schools, as well as addressing the inequities in resources and technology between schools.
Each and every child is a diamond in the rough, we agree that every New York kid deserves a fair shot at a good education in the greatest city in the world.
