*RTS* Size 5.5, 9 Long Scale Armour Ring
In the late 1970’s Alex Streeter created a line of “defensive jewelry” as a tribute to the burgeoning feminist movement.
His sculptural creations included one-of-kind body armor in leather, bronze and sterling silver which culminated in an event known as the “Battle of the Amazons”. Various statuesque models donning his bespoke designs "fought" each other on a staged boxing ring in the middle of Prince street in Soho, creating quite a scene
Many years later in 1992, Alex re-created this collection in a scaled-down format more easily accessible for everyday wear. Today the Long Scale Armour Ring remains one of Alex Streeter's most popular and everlasting designs.
