Broken Chain Ring

The Broken Chain Ring is an iconic work by Alex Streeter, originally carved in the early 1990’s. A bold chunky chain wraps around the finger, split open by a domed Black Onyx cabochon bursting forth. In Alex’s mind, this Black Onyx stone represents an 8 ball, a symbol of fate & chance in classic American tattoo culture. The splitting chain represents Freedom and and escape from the shackles of societal expectations. This ring is a reminder to take your future and shape it what you want it to be.
