Diving Mermaid Necklace
A blast from the archives, the Diving Mermaid is a beautifully figurative piece by Alex Streeter originally carved in the late 1970's. This delicate necklace depicts a mermaid rising from the depths with her latest find, a pearl discovered on the ocean's floor. Hand-carved using the lost wax method, the tail features a technique known as granulation in which tiny balls are applied meticulously one by one to create a unique texture. A unique work among Alex's catalogue, the Diving Mermaid is features a genuine saltwater Akoya pearl, now available in your choice of Black or White.
