The Scale Armour Collar is a bold statement piece from Alex Streeter's line of "defensive jewelry" originally created in the 1970s.
His sculptural creations included one-of-kind body armor in leather, bronze and sterling silver which culminated in an event known as the “Battle of the Amazons”. Statuesque models donning his bespoke designs "fought" each other on a staged boxing ring in the middle of Prince street in Soho, creating quite a scene.
Many years later, in 1992 he created a scaled-down collection of these pieces, streamlined and smoothed for everyday wear.
